The Little Mermaid Marina Returns.

  Prologue.

  Eric and Ariel’s adventures continue and bring them closer to their daughter than ever before. But they can’t do it on their own flounder and Sebastian help a great deal. And not forgetting Ariel’s loving father King Triton.

  Chapter 1.

  Eric and melody are taken away during the night. The culprits are Morgona who has been freed and Marina the one who freed Morgona.

  Eric hears something stirring in Melody’s room. He goes to investigate. As he opens the door, he sees her disappear of the balcony. He runs over to the balcony and shouts her but his voice is mute. Then a tentacle reaches up and grabs him. He tries to shout Ariel but the tentacle slams against his mouth. They are taken to the sea by the mysterious creature. As they descend to the depths of the ocean, a bolt of lightning hits the water and they are transformed into merpeople. Throughout the ordeal all you can hear is the waves crashing against the castle walls.

  Ariel returns to the sea to try and find them. She is told that flounder is very ill and close to dying. He is lying on a coral in the middle of a small cave and he tells Ariel not to worry about him and to focus on finding Eric and Melody. She tells him that he is her best friend and she will never leave him. Sebastian is told by both of them to look after flounder. He does as he is told for a little while, then he goes to join the search.

  Ariel carries on looking and is told by Sebastian that Scuttle has discovered their whereabouts. He has found one of Eric’s boots floating out of an ice tunnel. Ariel tells Sebastian to tell her father. She follows scuttle to the location to find them. Ariel starts to go through the tunnel entrance as quickly as possible, but before she gets to the end of the passage a giant tentacle grabs her and drags her into the main chamber of the ice cave. She is gagged by the tentacle and looks around frantically, trying to spot Eric or melody.

  Morgona says to her “what’s the matter sweaty can’t you see your precious family!” she opens the door to one of the cell like rooms, to reveal Eric and Melody. Ariel mumbles “Eric, Melody!” but they don’t look like themselves they are old and weak. Marina comes out of nowhere “now, now darling we shouldn’t let our family slip away so easily should we.” She laughs “chop, chop”

  Morgona throws Ariel into the room with Eric and Melody. Ariel hits the back wall and falls to the floor. She has to swim frantically to reach Eric who looks at her with frightened eyes. Melody says “mom….” and collapses with exhaustion. Just as Morgona is about close the door to the room, Ariel strokes Eric on the cheek and promises him that she will come back. She swims at her fastest and through the gap. She then swims up towards a hole in the ceiling. But when she is two meters from the top, Marina closes it. Ariel hits it and falls unconscious. As Ariel sinks to the bottom Benjamin, the manatee, pokes his head out of his room and says “oh no” he starts to swim to Ariel but is spotted by Marina and she shouts “And where do you think you are going.”

  “I was just going to,” he replies.

  “To what Benjamin?”

  “To help her” he says pointing to Ariel who had now sank to the bottom and laid deathly still.

  “NO! You aren’t”

  “But why…”

  “NO! Go to your room and forget about her!”

  “Yes Marina.” Benjamin goes back to his room, sits on his bed and mutters under his breath “You don’t like it when you bash your head.”

  Mean while Eric and Melody are slowly turning back into humans and because they are so weak they too fall unconscious and hit the bottom of the room. A few seconds later King Triton, Sebastian, Flounder and ten soldiers swim into the main chamber. King Triton orders that Marina and Morgona are arrested and taken back to Atlantica immediately. Flounder manages to wheeze “Ariel” and swim down to where her body lays motionless. Triton looks down to where Flounder is going and sees her for himself. He falls down next to her and cradles her in his arms. She wakes up and whispers to him “Eric and Melody are in one of the cells. We need to help them!” she tries to swim but is too weak to do so. King Triton carries her and puts her on a chair. She points to the room where Eric and Melody are trapped. He opens the door to let them out but Eric’s lifeless hand flops out of the entrance! With help from Sebastian and Flounder, Ariel reaches the doorway and grabs Eric’s cold hand. She sees Melody next to him lying motionless on the floor. She swims over and picks her daughter up and starts to slowly swim for the surface. King Triton follows her with Eric. When they reach the surface Eric and Melody are still unconscious. Ariel looks around her searching for Sebastian and Flounder. They are nowhere to be seen! She leaves Eric and Melody and swims as fast as she can down to the main chamber shouting “Flounder I’m coming, I’ll never leave you” when she reaches the chamber, she sees Flounder lying on the floor and Sebastian nudging him. Ariel swims down to them. She scoops Flounder up in her arms and hugs him. All the time she is saying to him “come on Flounder you guppy, wake up please, Flounder!” she bursts into tears. Then she hears. “Now who’s being a guppy?” Sebastian’s face lights up “Flounder!” Ariel cries, giving him a big hug. “You’re alright”

  “Yup fit as a fiddle. Come on let’s get back to Eric and Melody.” He starts to swim for the surface. Ariel swims up behind him and says “I’ll carry you I don’t want you to hurt yourself.” They get to the surface just as Eric wakes up. “Ariel, honey” he whispers with a hint of joy in his voice. He throws his arms around her with a loose grip. Then Melody comes round “mom, are you ok.” She throws her arms around her parents with a loose grip but stronger than Eric’s. Ariel hugs them both and says. “You’re both alright, thank god. Thank you daddy!” she turns to King Triton and smiles. She cries with joy. “Oh, and Sebastian please keep me up to with how Flounder is.”

  They go back to the castle and a few weeks later throw a party. Flounder recovers from his illness and everyone is happy once again.
